“Maraming salamat, AlDub Nation. AlDub you all!” Maine Mendoza said to the delight of hundreds of AlDub fans who attended the Catholic Social Media Summit (CSMSv4.0) in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Incidentally, this is also the hometown of Alden Richards, the other half of AlDub. But unfortunately, Alden was not present and is now in Japan, according to Wally.
“Ang Kalyeserye ay patuloy pong magbibigay ng daan [upang] makapagbahagi ng mga tamang asal, kabutihang asal, at pagmamahal sa kapwa at pagmamahal sa Diyos. Maraming, maraming salamat po…Ito na ang tamang panahon!” Wally Bayola told the screaming crowd using her signature Lola Nidora voice, as she was introduced by Yaya Dub on stage.
(The Kalyeserye will continue to pave the way in sharing good values, good conduct, love for others, and love for God. Thank you very much. Now is the right time)
Bayola, who was also praised by televiewers and netizens for his superb acting when he played the role of Duhrizz, received the Catholic Social Media Inspirational Award. On his speech, he thanked TAPE Production’s VP for creative and productions Jenny Ferre and acknowledged fellow host comedians Jose Manalo and Paolo Ballesteros for their support.
In the same event, the admins of the official AlDub trendsetters also received an achievement award for making AlDub a huge trending hit Twitter. Besides the daily trending AlDub hashtags, the hashtag #ALDubEBforLOVE broke Twitter records for having a whooping 25.6 million tweets on September 26, 2015. This was when Alden visited Yaya Dub in the mansion.
The two-day event was organized by Catholic youth groups Youth Pinoy and Areopagus Communications which aim is to spread Filipino values online and on social media. In an interview, Youth Pinoy President Sky Ortigas lauded the phenomenal AlDub Kalyeserye of Eat Bulaga not only for entertaining the audience but also for imparting good moral values.
Meanwhile, the plot of Kalyeserye continues to show the drama-acting talent of Maine Mendoza as Yaya Dub’s biological mother, Isadora is expected to appear soon. As we saw in the past few days, an unidentified woman can be seen watching them nearby that prompted Lola Nidora, Lola Tinidora, Lola Tidora and Yaya Dub to disguise themselves last Friday.
Last Saturday, Yaya Dub performed on Eat Bulaga stage again in Broadway during the Bulaga Pa More Grand Finals. Paolo Ballesteros won for his death-defying performance as he hangs himself in mid-air that shocked everyone. Meanwhile, the same identified woman was seen again after Yaya Dub’s performance and is expected to appear again this Monday, October 12.
