Senator Manny Pacquiao and Christopher ‘Bong’ Go had a boxing match inside an airplane, during their flight with President Rodrigo Duterte to Singapore this Thursday, December 14. And yes, Pacquiao was knockout by Bong Go. But of course, the ‘incident’ is only a prank to show that people with very serious jobs also have fun. Watch video below.
“Pambansang Photobomber knocks out Pambansang Kamao. May bonus pa… pati DTI Secretary Mon Lopez, knock out din.” Christopher Bong Go wrote on his official Facebook page, as a caption to the 15-second Manny Pacquiao-Bong Go boxing match video. As you can see on the first part, Pacquiao ‘threw’ punches at Go, until the latter stumbled.
On the next sequence, you can see Bong Co pretending to throw punches at Sen. Pacquiao, who was then sleeping on his seat inside the airport. He also ‘threw’ punches at Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez, who was sitting beside Pacquiao, also in deep sleep. So yes, Go beats Pacquiao just as simple as that.
Also included as part of President Duterte’s entourage in his Singapore visit are Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay Jr, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Presidential Communications Office Secretary Martin Andanar, Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Ronald M dela Rosa, and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano.
President Duterte is set to meet Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. On Friday, he will meet with Singaporean business leaders, and later a Filipino community that is expected to be huge, just like in his previous foreign trips. His visit is expected to expand business ties between the two countries.
