Watch: President Duterte Says He’ll Kick Out Satan if He Goes to Hell (PPRCV Speech Full Video)

“If I’ll go to hell, I’ll kick out Satan and take his place,” this is what President Rodrigo Duterte told the delegates of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) via a courtesy call at Malacañang Palace this Wednesday, August 3. Watch the president’s full speech on the video below, where he reiterated his advocacy to stop illegal drugs.

In his speech, President Duterte said that he is not blaming Sen. Leila de Lima for her strong concern on the human rights of slain suspected drug personalities, adding that it is her job as senator, and that he will do the same if he will be on her position. The neophyte senator wants to probe the series of drug-related killings perpetrated by vigilante assassins.

“Ang kalaban natin dito is greed… I would assume na ganoon that you — papasok ka dito sa droga — if it is the greed for money, I would just assume that you are just destroying the country.” President Duterte said, noting the negative effects of illegal drugs in the society and how it destroys the family, and that he is willing to face the consequences.

“It’s not easy to take human life, but I am sorry. Pero kung mapunta ako ng impyerno, hindi ako magpa-lugi. Hindi naman talaga ako ‘yung—napasubo lang. Eh papuntahin mo ako impyerno, unang sipain ko Satanas. ‘Umalis ka diyan. May bagong tigas dito.’” The president noted, and cited some incidents when he was still the mayor of Davao City.

(But if I go to hell, I will not allow myself to be disadvantaged. I just got into this. If you send me to hell, I will first kick out Satan. I will tell him, “Get out. I am the new tough guy here”)

“As long as the apparatus is there, pero kung wala ng mag-a-accept ng delivery, ‘yung basura wala ng runner. I am sorry. Wrong, it is fundamentally wrong. Is it the only way up to this time? Yes, I’m sorry. Unless I can get hold of the entire gamut of the organized crime.” He added, emphasizing that the drug cartels of Mexico and China have already reached the country.
