A Filipino teenager sings Charlie Puth’s ‘Marvin Gaye’ and recorded himself, but his mother heard him and stops him from singing. The video was then uploaded by his cousin, Jireh Baldrias Magsino on her Facebook page this Monday, February 1, 2015 and is now starting to go viral. Watch the funny video below, and we assure you it will brighten your day.
According to Jireh , the video of her cousin Steven Ronî Magsino from Batangas singing ‘Marvin Gaye’ is unintentional and not edited. As you can see, the teenage boy was wearing a headset and facing the camera while singing, “You got the healing that I want, Just like they say it in the song. Until the dawn, let’s Marvin Gaye and get it on.” Then suddenly, his mother came.
“Yung bunganga mo, ang lakas….di na nahiya, kahulan ng aso.” (Your voice is too loud!…You are not ashamed, the dogs are barking.) Steven Ronî’s mother told him, as she removed his headset and pinched his nose, noting that he should instead sing a song for God. Nevertheless, you can also hear the mother laughing a bit before she left the scene.
“Mahina naman ang boses ko…Kahulan ng aso pano may kita kong may nag-aanong aso, merong napunta dyan. (My voice is low…the reason why the dogs bark is because another dog came.) Steven Ronî Magsino replied to his mother, apparently defending his side and laughed. But suddenly, he was surprised when he realized everything was recorded on video.

But one might think that the mother was sarcastic and not supportive to her son’s hobby, we at TN think that she was just joking and really loves her son. Her pinch on her son’s nose is only a ‘lambing’ which is common to Filipino mothers. So yes, no need to inform DSWD about this one as this is very far from the reported child abuse. In fact, we think it’s cute to watch.
What do you think? 🙂
