Watch: Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj Endorse Bongbong Marcos (Video)
Yes, you read it right. Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj are endorsing Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos. As you can see on the music video below, these three international pop singers joined forces to appear in his latest political ad. But before you react, let me explained what happened here.
The title of the latest single from the trio is “Bongbong Into The Room,” which obviously mentions the nickname of the senator. In between the performances of Jessie J, Ariana and Nicki, you can see the Senator Marcos having good times with people from different walks of life, and doing selfie with the youth and ordinary people.
Wearing a red collared T-shirt, you can also hear him saying his political campaign tagline,”Ilabas ang galing ng Pilipino, tumayo tayo!” (Let’s bring out the best of Filipinos, let’s all stand up!). Now, here’s the million dollar question – ”Did Jessie J, Ariana and Nicki Minaj really endorse Bonbong Marcos for president in 2016 on his political ad?”
First of all, the video was created by Red Calayan and was uploaded via his official YouTube channel, Hay Naku Red. In case you’re not familiar with him, Red is a radio DJ, host, voice over talent, writer, drummer, speaker, and a meme/joke creator. His works can be found on his official Facebook page. He also created funny political e-Valentine cards last February.
So where did Red Calayan got this idea of Bonbong’s political ad video with Jessie J, Ariana and Nicki Minaj? Well, first of all, these three pop superstars released a single, “Bang Bang” back in 2014. This comes with the music video which Red mixed with a special appearance of Senator Bongbong Marcos, who might run for higher position this 2016 election.
Bongbong Into The Room – Jessie, Ariana, and Nicki Endorse Bongbong Marcos
For the video of the expected presidentiable, Calayan got it from the real political ad of Senator Marcos which was released early this month. Therefore, the video of Bongbong with Jessie J, Ariana and Nicki Minaj is not real, but rather two different videos mixed together. And as Red Calayan wrote on the video description – “Nothing political. Just for fun.”

But for the real news, Senator Bongbong Marcos is expected to formally announce his political plans for 2016 this coming September. As of posting, he has not made a final decision on what position, but he earlier mentioned running for reelection is not among his options. Meanwhile, many people believe that a Marcos-Duterte in 2016 is a great tandem.
