He immediately ordered them to be relieved from their respective posts.

“I do not necessarily humiliate people. But dumating ako sa position na to and I say, I have a sacred position. It is my moral duty, my obligation that you should know what is happening to the country. Nandito na ko so gagawin ko na ang dapat kong gawin (I’m now her so I will do what I should be doing).” President Duterte said on his speech.

“As [of] this time, I order them relieved from their assignments and report to the director general [Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa],” “I would like to talk them and certainly, I would expect the [National Police Commission to do their thing.” Duterte added, noting that these police generals suspected drug lor protectors have committed treason.

Garbo, who retired in March 2014, acted as PNP Deputy Director General, or the No. 2 man in the police force. Based on the news report by Philstar last April 3, he, and four active PNP officials were spotted by media in a bar at the Novotel hotel at Araneta Center, having a meeting with unnamed LP officials while wearing civilian clothes.

On the other hand, Loot (a member of Philippine Military Academy Class 1982) is the newly elected mayor of Daangbantayan, in Cebu. Tinio belongs to Class 1985 while Diaz and Pagdilao are “mistahs” in Class 1984.
