No less than President Rodrigo Duterte himself offered government positions to the rest of Mocha Girls. The said offer comes less than a week after he appointed Mocha Uson as assistant secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCCO), wherein the controversial entertainer was heavily criticized. “Gusto ninyo magtrabaho, OK lang…I-distribute ko kayo sa MTRCB (Movie And Television Review And Classification Board), sa—pero trabaho. Hindi kayo puwede mag-isang opisina. Masyadong maingay,” President Duterte told the Mocha Girls, in a video posted at Mocha Uson Blog Facebook page this Friday, May 12.
That time, the Mocha Girls were in Hongkong for a vacation, while President Duterte arrived on Thursday night to get some rest.He even proposed that the controversial girl group be included his foreign trips to entertain the Filipino communities abroad. Mocha Uson, who was also there, told the president she’s expecting it.

On the same video, President Duterte again defended his appointment to Mocha Uson as PCCO assistant secretary. As we all know, Mocha Uson is a huge Duterte supporter since the election campaign, and is considered as a very influential personality on social media, as her Facebook page now has over 5 million followers.
“Inggit lang iyan. Inggit iyan sila na ikaw dumating doon. Sabi ko, ‘Ako, I decided to employ her.’ Sana sinabi ko, ‘May utang na loob ako? What’s wrong in paying?’ Tutal ako naman ang may-ari ng Malacañang ngayon,” The tough-talking president said, who first defended Mocha Uson last Wednesday before leaving for Cambodia.
“Utang na loob ko ‘yan sa kanila because they offered their services free at the time wala akong pera because they believed in me. Now, it’s my time to believe in them. You can listen to her, you can debate with her, tingnan mo ang Facebook and she can have a very structured mind.” He said at that time, noting that every Filipino should be given a chance.
“‘Yang pagsasayaw niya, hanapbuhay ‘yan. There’s no law which says if you expose half of your body with shorts and a bra, you are disqualified from being the president of the Philippines. There’s nothing wrong with the woman or the girl. She’s bright; she’s articulate,” President Duterte emphasized, while defending Mocha Uson’s cabinet post.
