Sandra Cam Reveals Alleged Activities of Sen Leila de Lima’s Driver on Illegal Drugs Inside Bilibid

Sandra Cam revealed on what she claims as the activities of Ronnie Palisoc Dayan, the alleged driver-lover of Senator Leila de Lima in the illegal drugs trade inside the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) in Muntinlupa City. The former “jueteng” whistle blower made the revelation a day after Sen. de Lima fired back against President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Si lalaki, labas-masok ng BuCor (Bureau of Corrections), yang si Ronnie Palisoc Dayan. Kumukuha siya ng pera sa mga drug lord sa loob.” Sandra Cam said in the interview with Radyo Inquirer 990AM this Friday, August 19, noting that among the high-profile inmates whom he collects money from include Peter Co and Commando Gang commander Jaybee Sebastian.

Co and Sebastian were earlier named by President Duterte as the top drug lords in the country, along with Peter Lim. Cam, who is also the president of the Whistleblowers Association of the Philippines (WAP), added that Ronnie Dayan has been collecting P5 million every week from these drug lords inside the Bilibid, based on her unnamed source.

“May pinagbibigyan siya nu’ng drug money na kinukubra niya. I don’t want to preempt the President, ibibigay ni Presidente ang detalye tungkol diyan,” Cam noted, noting that it is better if the president himself will be the one to reveal other information about the alleged activities of Ronnie Palisoc Dayan. Nevertheless, she said that this is karma against de Lima.

Sandra Cam also stressed out that Bilibid 19 inmates were transferred to the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) back in 2014 upon the orders of then-Justice Secretary Leila de Lima. But for some unknown reasons, Jaybee Sebastian was not included in the transfer. And although she said she now pity de Lima, she emphasized that she feels vindicated.

Incidentally, the controversy on Sen de Lima’s alleged driver-boyfriend first went public when Sandra Cam submitted her affidavit to the Commission on Appointments (CA) also in 2014. That time, she strongly opposed de Lima’s appointment as the Secretary of the Department of Justice (DOJ), and revealed that the latter has an affair with her married driver.
