Pinoy Justin Bieber Fans Upset on Pacquiao-Mayweather Photobomb (Video)

Justin Bieber Photobombs Mayweather Pacquiao

Justin Bieber photobombs the official photo for Pacquiao-Mayweather press conference in Los Angeles last Tuesday. The event is the first marketing campaign for the so-called “richest boxing fight ever.” And yes, it’s not only boxing enthusiasts who were upset. Even Pinoy fans of Justin Bieber did not like it, too.

As you can see on the video, both Pacquiao and Mayweather are wearing a huge smile as they pose for a photo on stage with , Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, HBO Sports president Ken Hershman, Showtime Vice-President Stephen Espinoza, Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe, and Freddie Roach.

Without a warning, Justin Bieber appeared from the right side of Floyd Mayweather and tapped his shoulder. The undefeated boxing champion was obviously surprised with the sudden appearance of the 21-year old “Baby” singer. Nevertheless, Mayweather and Bieber shook hands and had a friendly hug.

Although the photo shoot was delayed for some seconds, Manny Pacquiao can be seen still wearing his sweet smile. The Canadian pop singer removed his sunglasses as he prepares himself to be included in the photo. However, Bob Arum and Freddie Roach looked disappointed but decided to just look on.

For the record, this is not the first time that Justin Bieber was seen publicly supporting Floyd Mayweather. Bieber escorted Mayweather to the boxing ring before his fight against Miguel Cotto in May 2012, and in September 2013 when Mayweather beat Canelo Alvarez via unanimous decision.

Although Beliebers do not question his choice of friends, the recent event is entirely different. It is a press conference, and not the actual match. This time, many Filipino fans of Justin Biebers think it is not appropriate that their idol suddenly joined the photo shoot and did not even say “Hi” to Pacquiao.

“I love Justin Bieber. But what he did is very disrespectful. He didn’t even look at Manny (Pacquiao) or wave his hand to him to show some respect.” Apolinaria Magbitang (@apolopdiay) tweeted.

“I hate saying this, but that was totally immature on his part. What were you thinking, my dear Justin (Bieber)? Wake up and act like a man” @bieber4everPH tweeted.

“I traveled far just to see you in Manila. You’re just a few feet away from a Filipino hero and you didn’t even care. Very sad, really!” @biebermaniamanila tweeted.
