Pinay Nurse Recalls Experience with Mayor Duterte and Mar Roxas During Yolanda Relief Effort?

A Filipina nurse from Canada allegedly recalled her experience with Mayor Rody Duterte and Mar Roxas during their relief operation for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda back in 2013. According to unidentified Pinay nurse who shared her own My Duterte Story, she volunteered to help because she has not returned to the Philippines for a long time.

” You send representatives and volunteers to Tacloban and make sure that nobody touches the goods. Philippine Government cannot be trusted. Hand it personally to the victims!” A statement reads on the Facebook post, quoting the instructions of the Head ng Board of Trustees of their hospital to their head nurse on November 9, 2013, with the team leaving the same day.

She said their team arrived in Tacloban on the night of November 10, and compared the disaster area to the scenes from the movie ‘Resident Evil,’ where there were damaged buildings, dead people in the streets, and survivors crying for help. After setting up a tent and getting ready to distribute relief goods, there were members of DSWD who came.

According to her, the DSWD team inspected their packed relief goods, with each pack could last for a week. She said that the DSWD will have re-pack the goods so they will only last for 3 days, noting that the Yolanda survivors will always ask for more. And worst of all, she said the DSWD team replaced the branded medicines with local brands.

Their Canadian team leader got mad because there was a very specific instruction to them that the relief goods should be given to the victims directly, and should not pass through any government agency. And as the relief effort went on, the same Canadian team leader noticed an old man helping the victims tirelessly, in every way he can.

“That guy should run in politics, not like that guy in blue who stayed in his tent and just give orders. I can’t believe your President trusted him to be the Head of the Response Team. He just sit there, eat his delicious meal, go out and act helpful whenever there is media and camera.” The Canadian team leader was quoted as saying.

Later, they learned that the man in blue who just give orders and acting helpful is then-DILG Secretary Mar Roxas, and the old man who really helped the victims is none other than Davao City Mayor Rody Duterte. Their Canadian team leader told them that the Philippines will be progressive ang great again, if Mayor Duterte will be the next president.

Hello My Fellow Duterte Supporters. As Part of this Page i want to share to you my own Duterte Story.

Exact word nya ” You send representatives and volunteers to Tacloban and make sure that nobody touches the goods. Philippine Government cannot be trusted. Hand it personally to the victims!” Ouch medyo awkward Pinoy po ako Madame! Lol..

Sabi ng kasama naming Canadian Team Leader “That guy should run in politics, not like that guy in blue (Mar Roxas) who stayed in his tent and just give orders i can’t believe your President trusted him to be the Head of the Response Team he just sit there, eat his delicious meal, go out and act helpful whenever there is media and camera, i think hes planning to run in a higher position, but i like that old guy, hes really something, he’ll make a good politician” yun narinig ng isang duktor lumapit sya sa amin at nagsabi sa akin “Excuse me po, Nurse actually talagang pulitiko po sya,

Sya po si Mayor Rodrigo Duterte ng Davao City”. Ah! From that time, di na nawala sa isip ko ang pangalan nya nakita ko pa na kahit pagod sya nakuha pa nyang ngumiti ng my lumapit sa kanyang isang bata na my dalang tinapay. Di talaga sya kagaya ng ibang pulitiko who loves to be interviewed and featured.

Sabi nga ng Team Leader namin “if He (Mayor Duterte) will lead your country, it will be progressive and definitely will be one of the greatest and most respected country because of his big heart for the poor and needy”.

Kudos to you, Mayor. May God continue to bless you with good health so you can help and serve more People. Whatever the result maybe, whatever the outcome of the election, i will always be grateful that once in my life i had extend my hands to helped my fellow Filipinos and had experienced serving my country with the Legend, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

The Pinay nurse has been identified as Lucy Meg Quinit. But apparently, it was learned she is from Minot, North Dakota, and not from Calgary, Canada. It also seems that she did not go to Tacloban in 2013 to help Yolanda victims.
