While the world is patiently waiting if the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight will push through, Manny Pacquiao has found a new sport. Believe it or not, the 36-year old Filipino boxing icon is now a professional wrestler. But how did it happen? Well, the parody video below explains it all.

Produced by entertainment website Funny or Die, the video features the 8-divison boxing champion showing his different accomplishments. Aside from being a great boxer, Pacquiao shows his other personalities, such as being a politician, a professional basketball player, a singer, and many more.

“Boxing is great. But it doesn’t let me show all the sides of my personality,” Manny Pacquiao said on the start of the video, after introducing himself as the WBO Welterweight champion. He also mentioned his documentary movie titled “Manny.”

“When Manny said he wanted to be a professional wrestler, I thought this is genius. I mean, this is not a mistake. This is not a huge destructive move in his career.” Professional wrestling coach Chet Carmichael said, who by the way is being portrayed by American comedian Brian Huskey.

Apparently, Manny Pacquiao told his “wresting coach” to be called a flying Filipino like a flying squirrel on the top of the rope. Later, Manny and Brian can be seen dancing to tango inside the boxing ring. To add fun, Manny Pacquiao was also joined by another comedian Garry Shandling.

After some funny training session, Pacquiao was introduced in the ring as “The Man-ny” and will attempt to fight a “wrestler” inside the ring. But obviously, you don’t expect Manny to fight seriously. Instead, he shows his opponent how to do the tango and knocked him down with a single punch.

To some viewers, the video might not be too funny. Nevertheless, it’s good that once in a while we can see the funny side of Manny Pacquiao. After all, his “wrestling coach” told him that maybe Pacquiao should just box and not be a professional wrestler.

Speaking of being a comedian, Manny Pacquiao is not really actually new with it. Just days before he fought and beat Chris Algieri, Foot Locker released a funny video commercial showing the Pinoy boxing champ got confused and thought that Floyd Mayweather finally agreed to fight him.
