With Floyd Mayweather winning over Manny Pacquiao, the world has just witnessed the most boring fight of the century. Right after the fight, the Pinoy boxing champion said, “I thought I won the fight, he didn’t do nothing.” Well, it appears to be true, simply because Mayweather avoided him all the way.
All the three judges at the MGM Grand scored the fight to Mayweather’s victory with a wide margin: 118-110, 116-112, and 116-112. The American boxer remains undefeated at 48-0, but was seen dancing and running away throughout the entire fight. And no, you don’t have to be an expert boxing analyst to say that.
“I knew he was going to push it and win some rounds,” “He had some moments in the fight, but I kept him on the outside. I was a smart fighter. I wasn’t getting hit with a lot of shots until I sat in the pocket, that’s when he would land a lot of shots.” Mayweather said after the fight.

“It’s time for me to hang it up. I’m almost 40 years old now. I’ve been blessed in the sport 19 years and have been a champion for 18 years, I’m truly blessed,” The undefeated boxing champion added, noting that he plans to retire from boxing after his next fight in September.
With the fight estimated to be worth $400 million, Manny Pacquiao is set to receive at least $120 million while Floyd Mayweather will be running to the bank with his take $180 million or more. In the post-fight interview, Mayweather said he earned $2.7 million per minute as he handed a $100 million check. Whew!!!!
The world knows how Floyd Mayweather fights as a very aggressive counter puncher, but not in this fight. Instead, he projected a safer style, hugging Pacquiao every now and then. On Twitter, even boxers and celebrities could not help but to voice out their dismay over this so-called “richest boxing fight of all time.”
