No cellphone number was revealed but it can be assumed that Fr. Alejo sent it direct to Mina Barrido. The latter mentioned the priest as who learned about her.
In her earlier press conference, Mina Barrido Arcillas said that Senator Antonio Trillanes and Senator Leila de Lima tried to bribe her in exchange of her testimony against President Rodrigo Duterte at the International Criminal Court (ICC). According to Arcillas, she was offered P1 million for her fake testimony vs President Duterte, adding that she already received P300,000 as initial payment. The businesswoman said claimed going to Manila between September and December 2016 to sign an affidavit, which was revised 15 times, noting that she backed out after reading the final draft.
This Thursday, Sen Trillanes categorically denied bribing Arcillas, and accused the Duterte government of planting her in their camp as a fake witness. He said he received reports that she had been asking money, noting that her statements ha d inconsistencies, so he decided to drop the latter as a credible witness.
