Look: Arthur Lascanas Spotted in Singapore, Informs Sen Trillanes Upon His Arrival?

SPO3 Arturo Lascañas informed Senator Antonio Trillanes IV shortly after he arrived in Singapore. This is according Pinay netizen who claimed she saw the retired Davao City policeman at the airport in Singapore, and allegedly heard him telling someone to tell the senator that he is already there. See photos below.

“Talagang nakakahanap ng paraan ang Diyos. Dumating si Lascañas sa Singapore at katabi niya ay isang Pilipina na mukhang Singaporean. Kausap ay isang babae na parang asawa nito o kapamilya. Dahil akala ay banyaga ang Pinay, nagBisaya si Lascañas sa kausap niya.” Bruce Villafuerte Rivera wrote on Facebook this Tuesday.

(God can really find a way. Lascañas arrived in Singapore, and was seated beside a Filipina who looks like a Singaporean. Using his phone, he called a woman who appears to be his wife or relative. And because he thought the Filipina beside him is a foreigner, he used Visayan language while speaking on his phone.)

“At ito ang kanyang sinabi: ‘Sabihin mo kay Sir Sonny na dumating na ako.’ (And this is what he said: ‘Tell Sir Sonny that I’m already here.’)” Atty. Rivera added, noting that the Pinay netizen was the one who sent him the photo of Lascañas inside the Singaporean airport. He also wondered who was the ‘Sir Sonny’that Lascañas is referring to.

Last Sunday, Bureau of Immigration (BI) spokesperson Tonette Mangrobang confirmed that SPO3 Arturo Lascañas flew to Singapore on Saturday at around 5 pm, via a Tiger Airways flight. He emphasized that there is no lookout bulletin or hold departure order against the retired cop, which is why he was allowed to leave the country.

Based on his flight ticket, Lascañas is set to return to the Philippines. However, Mangrobang said that the former Davao City cop will not be penalized if he fails to come back on the said date. As of posting, Sen Trillanes has not yet commented on Lascañas’ flight to Singapore. Nevertheless, there were reports that he was in a Korean Air flight last Sunday.
