Meet Kelvin, Eat Bulaga’s Laban o Bawi winner who can imitate different voices. And yes, he imitates the voices of ABS-CBN Kapamilya news anchors, TV characters and personalities with flying colors. On the video below, you can see that the noon time show hosts and the audience were very impressed.

The very entertaining moment happened on Thursday, March 5, 2015 when Kelvin was chosen to play for Laban o Bawi. During the interview, Allan K asked Kelvin to promote his “puto” using his DJ voice and the crowd went wild. Then, he told Kelvin that he claims to be capable of imitating other voices.

Allan K asked the Laban o Bawi winner if he can copy the voices of news anchors. Kelvin said, “Yes” and showed his incredible talent. He first imitated the voice of Ted Failon of TV Patrol to the delight of Allan K, Ruby Rodriguez, and Jimmy Santos. The crowd screamed with excitement.

Immediately after, he turned around and did a spoof of Marc Logan and Gus Abelgas. Kelvin also spoofed the late, great comedian Babalu, with Allan K telling the audience that Lydon, the only child of Babalu, is his friend. Then, the crowd screamed “Doraemon! Doraemon!,” a famous Japanese anime.

And because “Aleng Maliit” Ryzza Mae Dizon is the huge fan of Doraemon, Ruby Rodrguez gave the microphone to Kelvin again. Without any sign of hesitance, the talented contestant first imitated “Damulag” (Gian) or giant in English, followed by Suneo, Nobita, and of course, Doraemon.

With Ryzza Mae very impressed with Kelvin’s voice talent, the crowd requested for more. The Eat Bulaga contestant did Spongebob, and Dragon Ball main characters including Son Goku. When Allan K asked him how he discovered his talent in voice impression, Kelvin said he first imitated Mr.Bean.

Ruby Rodriguez requested Kelvin to imitate the voice of Mr. Bean. The female host was obviously very impressed, as well as the other hosts and the entire audience. For his last performance, Kelvin spoofed the voice of actor-comedian Leo Martinez, whom he said is his “kababayan” in Batangas.

Allan K commended the talent of Kelvin, whose full name according to his Facebook page is Jhon Kelvin Lomibao and is currently studying at Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Manila. He also works as a DJ at DZMC Mascomplete, the official radio arm of the PUP – College of Communication.

On his Facebook wall, the working student thanked God for his blessing and Eat Bulaga for the P100,000 price he won from Laban o Bawi. Facebook fans are now persuading Allan K to invite Kelvin to perform at his comedy bar, Klownz, or a possible slot in the segment, Juan For All, All For Juan, Bayanihan of d’ Pipol.
