Kris Aquino unfollows Judy Ann Santos (Juday) on Instagram and other celebrities who criticized PNoy on the issue of the fallen 44 slain members PNP-Special Action Forces (SAF). These celebrities are good friends of the presidential sister. Some of them have also worked with Kris, who is also an actress and a TV host.

Last Thursday, President Noynoy Aquino was heavily criticized for not attending the arrival honors for the 42 slain SAF members. Instead, PNoy attended the inauguration of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation plant in Laguna. Malacanang said the earlier event is not included in his schedule that day.

Although PNoy led the necrological services the following day, netizens and many celebrities insisted that he should be also present at the arrival honors. Most of them noted that President Aquino is not only the father of the country, but also the Commander in-chief.

On early morning on Friday, Kris Aquino arrived at the wake but was reportedly snubbed by some of the victims’ family members. On her Intagram account, the Queen of All Media voiced out her reaction on the criticisms against PNoy, and clarified that she was not treated badly during her visit at the wake.

On the same day, the hashtags #NasaanAngPangulo and #Fallen44 continue to trend on Twitter. Judy Ann Santos was among the first celebrities to voice out their dismay over PNoy. Other celebrities who commented include Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Christine Bersola, and Jomari Yllana.

The 36-year old Kapamilya’s Teleserye Queen posted on her official Instagram account (@officialjuday) a 2011 photo of US President Barack Obama when he canceled his trip to attended the arrival honors Dover of 20 fallen American soldiers. Juday wrote, “Just saying…Obama knows his priorities…”

On Saturday afternoon, it was learned that Kris Aquino has unfollowed Judy Ann Santos on Instagram. The admin of Juday’s official Facebook fan page confirmed this and asked its group members on this issue. AS of posting, Juday’s Instagram account still follows Kris Aquino @beingkrisaquino).

On the other hand, Christine Bersola wrote on her Instagram account, “Mr Commander in Chief, do not call the collective anger of Filipinos as mere making of ‘judgements’ or panghuhusga, because your actions & decisions were obvious,” and questioned PNoy for being absent at the heroes’ welcome.

Singers and real-life Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez also commented on the issue, but as harsh as the other celebrities. Kris Aquino reportedly unfollowed both of them on Instagram, but followed them again shortly. The 43-year old presidential sister has also apologized to Regine and Ogie.

Meanwhile, actor Jomari Yllana allegedly wrote on his official Facebook page, “Ang akala nila, parang video game lang… Nag-ensayo lang at pinasubukan. Sigurado ako, kahit dati na hindi ka corrupt… Pero, garantisado na ako na isa ka ngang tanga! Lahat ng nasa gabinete mo mandarambong.”

(They think this is like a video game; just a practice and trial. I’m sure that you’re not corrupt. But I can guarantee that you are stupid. All of your cabinet members are thief.)

The purported message, which criticized PNoy for “mishandling” the terrorists’ arrest, has been deleted. However, Kris Aquino has already unfriend Jomari on Facebook, Christine Bersola, and other celebrities who mocked her brother. She also continues to defend PNoy and reply to some bashers online.
