Kris Aquino Launches Kris TV Corp Business Venture, to Undergo Health Exam Abroad

Kris Aquino will not spend Christmas here in the Philippines, as she is set to undergo a health examination abroad. But before that, the Queen of All Media launched this Tuesday, December 11 her latest business venture – Kris TV Corporation. The former presidential sister posted details and photos on her official Facebook and Instagram accounts.

“Tomorrow my sons & I are leaving for my health examination abroad. To all of you who patiently waited for me to return to the work I love most & the work you’ve missed me doing- January 2017 starts a full slate for me.” Kris Aquino wrote, adding that although she has to sacrfice spending Christmas here, she iwanted to make that she is 100% healthy.

“I’m excited to see KRISTV Corp. grow as our new venture flourishes. Super excited for
my new chapter. Maraming bago. Finally doing things I never thought I would be doing. Thank you Lord.” Kris wrote a few hours later. Kris TV Corp is a digital program through video blogs on social media, and is a business in partnership with APT Entertainment.

As we all know, Kris Aquino left ABS-CBN last September after doing various TV show hosting with the Kapamilya network for 22 years. According to her, she was set to renew her contract with ABS-CBN last February, but it did not happened because there were threats against her. That time, her brother Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III was still the president.

“Our agreement was we’d talk when I got back. That is the risk of taking time for yourself- when you come back there’s no guarantee that a space will be held for you. We spoke in July but there was no definite show & no assured time frame of my return on air. I perfectly understood- as much as I wanted to believe I was a pillar of the network.” She said that time.
