Kris Aquino will not be Steve Harvey’s co-host in the Miss Universe 2016 beauty pageant, which will be held on January 30, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena, in Pasay City. This is after the Queen of All Media allegedly failed the audition to co-host the most prestigious beauty contest in the world. The said task now has been assigned to another Pinay.
“Definite na si Steve Harvey will be the host. We’re looking for babaeng counterpart niya. Mayroon na kaming napili. Ayaw pa lang sabihin kung sino. (We’ve already chosen for a female counterpart for him. But we will not reveal her name yet.)” Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Wanda Corazon Tulfo-Teo told DZMM radio this Sunday, December 11.
As we all know, Steve Harvey made the wrong announcement of winner during the Miss Universe 2015 held in Las Vegas last December 20. In that event, Harvey mistakenly announced that Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez winning the crown, and Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach as the first runner-up. He immediately corrected his mistake and apologized.
