Emgoldex.com clarified on Saturday, February 21, 2015 that Emgoldex Philippines is illegal. The statement comes a week after the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued an advisory, stating that Emgoldex Philippines is not registered to their office as a company or corporation.
“We acknowledge receipt or recent correspondence regarding the scam artists posing as Emgoldex Philippines, and the resulting scam through your SEC office.” Emgoldex said as a reply to one of its supposed members in the Philippines who requested for legal support in the country.
“Emgoldex has already instructed its international legal team to communicate with the Philippine government; and to move on this matter. They are already in contact with the SEC. You will appreciate for legal reasons our advisors will be communicating confidentially with your government.” The gold investment company added.
