Aiza Seguerra publicly warns Emgoldex members to stop using her name in false advertising. In her Instagram account on Monday, June 8, 2015, the “Pagdating ng Panahon” singer posted two screenshots that mention her name as endorser and one of the clients of the controversial MLM networking company.
“FYI HINDI NIYO AKO KLIYENTE AT HINDING HINDI KO KAYO INIINDORSO. Nag-sponsor kayo ng show ko sa Dubai at binigyan niyo ako ng t-shirt at dahil maayos akong tao, nagpasalamat ako, at nagpa-picture ako sa inyo.” Aiza Seguerra wrote on her official Instagram account.
(FYI I am not your client and I never endorsed your company. You sponsored my show in Dubai and you gave me a T-shirt. And because I am a nice person, I thank you and even joined you in some photos.)

“DO NOT USE ME TO GET PEOPLE TO JOIN YOUR GROUP BECAUSE I AM NOT ENDORSING YOUR GROUP. DO NOT USE FALSE ADVERTISING TO ENTICE PEOPLE TO JOIN YOU. I AM WARNING YOU, DO NOT USE MY NAME.” The 31-year old singer-actress added.
“STOP USING MY NAME TO ENTICE PEOPLE TO JOIN YOUR GROUP. Ginamit niyo ang walang malisyang photo-op para sa kapakanan ninyo!!!! Mahiya kayo. STOP USING MY NAME!” Aiza Seguerra wrote in anger, as caption on the second photo.
(You maliciously used our photo for your own sake!!! You should be ashamed of yourself. Stop using my name!)

As reported earlier, Emgoldex (Emirates Gold Exchange) issued a warning to the public, saying that some unidentified people are using their official brand name for their own personal benefit. The investment company reminded the public to verify the information only through their official website.
Here in the Philippines, the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued an advisory last February to warn the public about Emgoldex Philippines. The agency said that Emgoldex is not a registered corporation or partnership, and is therefore members are not authorized to solicit investments from the public.
Meanwhile, clients of Emgoldex who earned good money from recruiting new clients continue to insisting that the MLM networking company is not a scam. In fact, many of them criticized ABS-CBN’s “Bandila” news reporter Zen Hernandez for interviewing a certain Edgar, a self-proclaimed victim of Emgoldex.

As of posting, no Emgoldex member has admitted using the name of Aiza Seguerra. But if you will look closely on the screenshot, the poster mentioned the name of Christian Jake Dene-ay II, who according to his Facebook page is a proud client of Emgoldex. It is not known if Christian knows the identity of the poster.
